Lauren utilises a number of evidence-based techniques in her work including cognitive behavioural, solution focused, interpersonal, mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy. However, Lauren believes that the basis for all successful counselling is the development of a warm, respectful and empathic relationship, allowing for a collaborative approach in discussing problems, identifying goals and bringing about change.
