Process

We operate in one of two ways:

  1. Standard – this is when you view and approve each invoice – you would have the provider send the invoice directly to you then you will forward to us either via email, MMS or post. You can also choose to place a Standing Authority on your chosen providers.
  2. Standing Authority – this is where you provide us a Standing Authority to pay certain providers without approving each invoice. You need to provide us with a list of the providers you authorise us to pay, and we will verify them and pay the invoices as received. Any issues with invoices will need to be raised directly with the provider.

About Us

Michael and Brian started Budgetnet in July 2016 originally designed to assist people to take control of their budgets and cashflow. After working with someone in Perth that was living with a disability, we discovered the NDIS and realised we could have a greater impact on peoples lives. In August 2017 we were registered to provide plan management services in Victoria. Since then we have grown significantly and aim to provide consistent and transparent plan management services.

Whilst the NDIS is a great initiative and will benefit our daughter immensely, it has had its teething problems. Access to your portal and the payment of invoices is not as easy as it should be and many of the agencies we deal with are also having some teething problems handling their financial side. I don't think we would have coped without Budgetnet. They have taken the stress out of the financial side for us and allowed us to focus on using the NDIS to focus on our daughter's goals. Their staff have always been friendly and welcoming and, more importantly, easily accessible when an issue has arisen, often going over and above what you would expect.
