Aus Safe Support is the NDIS Registered Provider. The purpose of our service is providing the best service and healthy caring environment to participants (people with disabilities), their support networks including participant’s family and friends and community. We support our participants to live their life in a way they want and be with them to achieve their goal. Our long term goal is to support participants to get easy access to what they want and provide more job opportunities to the people who want to work in the disability sector.

Aus Safe Support provides quality services to the people with disabilities. We have qualified and experienced staff and support workers from diverse backgrounds. We have support workers from nursing background, staff with many years of compliance experience and support workers with experience of working in aged care and disability sector. Our staff and support workers are very friendly and caring. We understand the participant’s vision,requirements and goal and be with them to achieve their goals.

We support all participants including self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA managed.

Daily personal activities:

Are you looking for a support worker to assist with your personal activities? Aus Safe Support provides support for your daily personal activities in a way you want. Supports will be provided from participant’s own home or in the community environment based on participant’s needs. Our caring, friendly and experienced staff will support you based on your needs, goals, choices and outcome. We will be with you to support and make you feel comfortable and safe. Daily personal activities are including;

  • Support with showering and toileting
  • Support with eating
  • Helping you to have healthy meals
  • Support to get in and out of the bed
  • Helping with dressing
  • Support to move around the house
  • Provide assistance with medication
  • Support to maintain the hygiene
  • And more

Travel and Transport

Traveling is part of our life. It doesn’t matter who you are. We all need to travel. Your disabilities will not stop you from traveling. Aus Safe Support’s caring and friendly staff will take you to the place you want to travel.

We can transport you with safe and comfortable transportation with proper licensed driver on our vehicles or if you need our support worker accompany you to travel on public transport including trains, buses or ferry to get you to:

  • Visit your doctor
  • Going to work
  • Shopping
  • To visit your loving ones
  • School/ Education center
  • Any community participation
  • And more

Participate in community

Aus Safe Support sends our support workers to you to assist you to participate in the community. Our priority is to fulfill participant’s needs. Participating in the community makes the participant happy and meaningful. Our support services to our participants to participate in the community including;

  • Visiting family and friends
  • Shopping
  • Going to Cafe/ catching up with friends
  • Going to cinema
  • Watching Sports
  • And more

Household Tasks

You don’t need to worry to complete your household tasks. Our kind and friendly support workers are ready to support you 24/7. Aus Safe Support will help our participants to complete their household tasks such as clean their house. Example cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, Vacuuming inside the participant’s house or outside the house. Nothing to worry about completing your household tasks. We are here for and do it for you. We also will maintain your lawn, when needed.

Development of Life Skills

The focus of “Development of daily living and life skills is to support participants to develop their daily life skills through training.  Aus Safe Support understands the needs of our participants. We support our participants to develop their life skills including maintaining their personal hygiene, support them to travel and transport independently, preparing healthy meals, maintaining the home environment clean and more. We assess the participants ability and support them to develop their skills in the area they require to live more independently. Life skills are essential to live independently. Development of life skills enable the participant to live their life with more confidence and effectiveness.

Aus Safe Support understands the participant’s goals and we support and work with you to develop your ability and life skills and be with you until you reach your goal. We work with you to find out the difficulties you face in your daily living and train you to manage those issues and live more independently through our training strategies. Development of life skills services including;

  • Maintaining the personal hygiene
  • Assist the participant to use the public transport independently
  • Preparing the healthy meal
  • Toileting
  • Maintaining the personal care
  • Maintaining the home environment clean
  • Develop the communication skill with the service providers, family and friends
  • And more depends on the participant’s needs

Accommodation and Tenancy

Aus Safe Support is a NDIS Registered Provider that has the approval to provide you the accommodation services. If you are looking for short term accommodation that makes you feel home, Aus Safe Support is the perfect place for you. We provide a place that makes you feel safe and happy. When you need short term accommodation, we can provide whether the requirements of accommodation are planned or due to unexpected conditions. Suitable circumstances, we will help you to find the accommodation for you. We will provide healthy meals. Our friendly and experienced staff will support your needs in a way that makes you feel comfortable and happy.

GROUP/CENTRE ACTIVITIES

Activities make life healthy. Our team will support participants to take activities to make their life physically, mentally and emotionally healthy.Aus Safe Support will encourage participants to take part in activities independently or /group centre activities.

These activities make your skills develop, become healthy and make new friends, explore and happiness.

Our activities programs are:

  • Cooking, gardening, art and craft – develop your skills
  • Fitness activities – makes you healthy
  • Library – develop your learning.
  • Dance – fun and relieves stress
  • Picnic, Cinema – explore happy, meet new people
  • Our service makes you happy, it is our first priority.

ASSIST LIFE STAGE TRANSITION

Assist with life stage transition service includes short and long term support that aims at strengthening and supporting the participant’s abilities and choices. Transitions such as moving out of one’s home, joining the university, or getting a job are part of everyone’s life.

Daily Tasks / Shared Living

Whether you are living in your own home, rental property or shared accommodation, Aus Safe Support understands the feeling of living independently. Sometimes it seems like, can’t be achieved. But we make your dream real. Even if you decide to live on your own for the first time, we are here to assist you to live your life more independently. Our trained staff will guide and support you to live independently by assisting you to do your daily basic tasks, such as getting yourself ready, preparing some healthy meals, and doing some recreational activities.
