Hello,

My name is Rachel and I am a Support Coordinator offering Level 2 Support Coordination in The Illawarra and Shoalhaven (south to Nowra) regions of NSW.

Why do I do it? Because I love it! I love working in a sector that provides an opportunity to bring change and positivity to a person’s life.

A bit about me:

I have a background in Hospitality and Business Support Management which allowed me to gain extensive knowledge and skills in leadership, coordination, networking, and building important relationships.  I started working in disabilities in 2017 with Greenacres Disability Services as a combined Support Worker and Café Manager where I was privileged to mentor, train and guide supported employees in fulfilling a dream of securing permanent employment. I enjoyed empowering them to develop skills and confidence to achieve workplace and personal goals and very much missed the industry when I left. I am very excited to have recently re-joined the sector as a Support Coordinator with Auscare and am very much enjoying my role.
