A well maintained garden is a source of peace and tranquillity, preserving the ecological balance and improving our well being. The health of the garden flora can be influenced by many factors which need to be taken into consideration in the initial planning stage, to ensure the level of maintenance and the budgetary constraints are adhered to. All our motor gardening tools are operated by battery and environmentally friendly. Our garden maintenance services include, but are not limited to: 1. Lawn Mowing – the mowing of the lawns should be carried out on a regular basis, in the warm seasons of the year once a fortnight and the cold seasons once every four weeks, so to as to allow the lawn to grow longer, and to protect it better during the cold period.2. Prunning and Trimming of seasonal flora and perennial flora – Prunning and Trimming in the garden need to be performed for various reasons, such as sanitation, building of the plant skeleton, landscaping the plant scenery or for the purpose of rejuvenating and revitalising the garden vegetation.3. Tackling garden weeds – the garden weeds comprise a large variety of plants, some seasonal and some perennial, some scattered in the garden patches and others in the garden lawn. In order to maintain the garden free from weeds and reduce the cost of garden maintenance, weeding should be carried out on a regular basis, once a week or at the very least once every three weeks, depending on the season. Subject to weather limitations applying spray to eradicate the weeds may be required.4. Tree Lopping of small trees – we can carry out tree lopping of trees up to 5 meters in height. 5. Soil improvement – keeping the soil fertile and rich in minerals promotes better drainage of the liquids in the soil, dealing with weeds in the garden and maintaining the health of the garden vegetation.6. Tackling diseases and pests – regular garden maintenance is the best solution to combating diseases and pests in the area of the garden and when a new infestation is identified it’s recommended to use natural or organic repellents.7. Seasonal and perennial fertiliser – it’s recommended to apply fertiliser several times a year, mainly during the transition seasons and here as well it’s recommended to use natural or organic fertilisers. 8. Edible and fragrant flora – a garden combining fruit trees, a vegetable patch or herb garden, is a healthier, more diverse and better flowing green retreat, while an organic garden is the ultimate in promoting a healthy life style.9. Seasonal planting – seasonal planting promotes diverse attraction centres throughout the changing seasons by utilising the varying vegetation effects such as edible greenery, fragrant greenery or the vegetation blossom effect and foliage shade.10. Vegetation renewal and rejuvenation – may be carried out when the garden flora is tired or requires significant change.11. Top dressing – it’s recommended to employ top dressing to improve the garden facade, employing top dressing we can better tackle weeds with a significant savings in water usage and wastage. Dealing with problematic vegetation – utilising our wide ranging experience and advanced tools we are able to offer our customers functional solutions to tackling problematic vegetation in the garden area.13. Garden irrigation systems – in order to maximise the effectiveness of the garden irrigation system, it’s important to take into account the garden’s vegetation characteristics and its changing requirements throughout the seasons, as well we need to consider the local climate, soil type and structure of the site. Water is the main conveyor of food for the plants, however it is also the most expensive resource, therefore it is recommended to seek the advice of a professional horticulturalist to provide a comprehensive irrigation solution. Clearing of spider webs – when spiders in gardens spread their webs in your backyard they cause an environmental hazard. Spiders can also be venomous thus endangering the lives of the house occupants and should be removed from the garden. Treatment against spiders normally needs to be repeated as and when required.18. External washing – in order to improve our quality of life and maintain the health of the flora and fauna in our surroundings, it is recommended to wash the layers of dust accumulating on the house walls and garden vegetation. The wash is recommended as a supplementary treatment to dealing with pests. Washing with a pressure machine is recommended mainly for removing the coarse dirt that has accumulated on garden paths and driveways but it may also be used to clean gutters and remove spider webs.
