Will Care Home Support

I am a Registered Nurse who has worked in both the disability and aged care sectors for over 20 years. I am pursing this initiative to bring quality care to those in need from Darwin to Katherine (including the shires of Belyeun and Wagait). As a Health Care Professional, I understand the need to provide safe, quality care that allows an individual to make and achieve goals and remain as independent as possible. Will Care is currently undergoing an audit to become a registered provider.

The clinical and personal care offered by Will Care will be provided by experienced and caring Support Workers and Registered Nurses.

Personal care assistance will include:

• support with ADL’s;
• bowel and catheter care;
• assessment and monitoring;
• nutrition/ meal prep;
• medication prompting and administration;
• social support;
• domestic assistance; and
• transport

Clinical care will provide the treatment of medical conditions including but not limited to;

• wound care
• catheter care
• administration of s8 medications
• tracheostomy management
• ventilation support
• IM /SC injections
• PEG and NG Tube feeding
